WHAT IS NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT?
Neurosychological testing can provide valuable information about the way a person thinks, learns and copes.
Psychoeducational testing refers to the psychological tests used to analyze the mental processes underlying your child's educational performance.
As part of the assessment, your child will undergo psychoeducational testing.
Neuropsychological testing is a critical part of the process of accurately diagnosing learning disabilities and attention problems, as well as a a better way to understand an individual’s intellectual, behavioral and social-emotional development.

IN SOME INSTANCES ARRANGEMENTS CAN BE MADE FOR TESTING SESSIONS TO TAKE PLACE AT YOUR CHILD'S SCHOOL.
WHAT IS NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT?
- A neuropsychological or psychoeducational evaluation is often recommended when the child/adolescent/adult is suspected of having a learning disability or ADHD.
- Usually, these evaluations are referred from the school, neurologist or physician.
- In other cases, the evaluations are required by the College Board when a child is going to college and applying for special accommodations.
